One Big Switch is calling for Australian governments to place a temporary cap on electricity and gas prices while they search for solutions to the current crisis.

The Federal Budget predicted a 56% cumulative increase in electricity prices over 2022 and 2023. Along with big gas bill hikes, that would add over $1000 to the energy costs of an average home.

In Europe and the UK, half a dozen governments have already capped energy bills. With Australia headed in the same direction, now is the time to act before it’s too late.

Our power bill went from $60 to $301. NICE! Obvious the rich who are making the fat profits will get richer and the rest of us will get poorer very quickly. Also can Gov. STOP subsidising the likes of Power Bills!!! Surely they know it's just a trick to allow their rich mates to put their prices up!!! DO NOT DO THAT!!!

I have solar panels and I’m paying Synergy when I’m giving them extra power. I can’t afford to run my air con, I walk around in the dark and I eat cold food ( don’t cook)

It is outrages that Labor have been installed into government for one reason only to instil the climate lord’s agenda to extract as much money at any cost from their countries constituents to pay for expensive RENEWABLES which will only become more costlier in years to come!!
